January 6, 2010

1. Meeting opened at 5:32.

2. Attendees: Ed Vien (EV), Susan Muenzinger (SM), Lyn Roberts (LR), Helen Schiff (HS),
Ellen Barbasso (EB), Linda Small (LS), Paul Skowron (PS), Matt Monahan from
CNHRPC (MM), Scott Spradling (SS) from the Spradling Group, and Ted Mitchell (TM).

3. Minutes from December 2, 2009 accepted and approved.
Minutes from December 26, 2009 accepted and approved.

4. Membership
A. Lyn Roberts made a motion to accept the resignation of Deb Jordan.
1. Seconded by Susan Munzinger, approved by all.
B. Helen Schiff made a motion to accept Ted Mitchell as a member of EDC.
1. Seconded by Ellen Barbasso, approved by all.
2. His name will be sent to Select Board for approval as an EDC member.

5. Signage-MM had a map of Rt 28
A. 3 intersections where we can put signage, can put on north and south side of Rt 28
1. Area 429 headed north, and 441 headed south on Leavitt Rd
2. Other possible site is River Rd and Rt 107.
B. Can put 3 business on each sign
C. Only certain businesses can go on signs-tourist oriented, food, fuel or lodging

6. Plan NH Charrett Update
1. New deadline is March 17, 2010.
2. MM was able to get application from them
3. Need letters from several town committees and groups to show that many people
support the effort.

7. Other
A. EDC Newsletter
1. Information was timely
2. Would like to get a link for it from the Pittsfield Town Website.
B. Amoskeg Bridge Incubator (ABI) abi_nh.com
1. Helps small businesses with start up
2. Offers affordable office space for new businesses
approval
3. We might be able to do something like that with Plan Charrett
C. Website committee will have economic development part ready soon
D. Park & Ride – MM will try to get a meeting with the state rep
