In attendance were, Leslie Vogt, Bob Lemer, Mary Schelble, and Doug Andrews.

The minutes of the previous meeting were accepted as submitted.

Election of officers for the coming year was held, and the results were as follows:

The keys will be given to all trustees.

A note will be sent to the library friends expressing our thanks for the wonderful Open House they put on.

There was a discussion of the Town Auditor’s report and the roles of the various trust funds. The reporting of the library trust fund will, from this point take on the appearance of the report that the director produces. This was voted and approved.

The estate of Arnold Wells was discussed. The attorney for the estate told Bob that the materials that will be coming to the library will be delivered to the library, and that the Trustees should wait for events to unfold.

It was voted to purchase three Dell computer systems to replace the oldest systems still in use at library. The cost of these computer will be $499.00 each.

The Director’s and Treasurer’s reports were discussed and approved.

The timesheets were approved by the Treasurer.

We discussed the idea of another Open House in the fall, and this idea was viewed with enthusiasm. It was voted to fully support such an event if the Friends group were inclined to put one on at that time.

The subject of how we can better serve the community was discussed as a preparation for the next meeting. This would entail assessing the needs of the community and our ability to meet those needs.

It was noted that the next meeting of The Trustees will be held on May 10th, 2006, at 6:30 pm. The meeting was adjourned at 7:35 pm.

Respectfully Submitted,

Douglas H. Andrews, Secretary
