1. Meeting opened at 5:33.

2. Attendees: Ed Vien (EV), James Hetu (JH), Lyn Roberts (LR), Helen Schiff (HS)
Susan Muenzinger (SM), Ellen Barbasso (EB) and Matt Monahan (MM) representing CNHRPC
Also attending Linda Small (LS), Ryan Hetu (RH), and Gene Marcotte (GM).

3. Minutes from April 9, 2008 approved with amendments as follows: on Topic 5B to promote WiFi
add – Put notices in windows of businesses to announce that WiFi is coming. It can change a
little each week.

4. Planning Board Meeting Thursday May 1, 2008 .
A. EDC members are invited to come to the meeting to discuss matters relevant to zoning and
B. planning board issues.

5. WiFi
A. MM wrote up a press release to be put into the local papers to announce that WiFi is coming
B. A few changes were made to give it a little more “punch”
C. The black and white logo was chosen

6. Promote RSA 79E
A. Information about it will be put on the EDC table at the Chamber Showcase
B. We will send a copy to the Chamber of Commerce
C. It was suggested that we hand deliver it to the businesses in town.

7. Steve Heavener from CRDC
A. Wants us to pick out 3-4 businesses we want him to contact
B. He also wants us to pick out 2-3 buildings for him
C. What vacant parcels of land are available and what would we like to see there
D. He will give us the feasability of each one

8. Other issues
A. Projections for the future show growth in the following job markets
1. Professional, scientific and health services fields
2.Waste management, retail sales, food services, arts and entertainment
B. Matt advised us that grants are available for preservation of sites and restoration
1. Requests shoule be made by May, but will be available next year also
C. There are some problems with lot lines and zoning not matching up-needs some adjustment

9. Next meeting Wednesday April 3, 2008 at 5:30 P.M.
