1. Meeting opened at 5:32.

2. Attendees: Ed Vien (EV), Ted Mitchell (TM), Lyn Roberts (LR), Susan Muenzinger (SM),
Linda Small (LS), Ellen Barbasso (EB), Paul Skowron (PS), and Matt Monahan (MM) from
CNHRPC, Scott Ward (SW), and Scott Spradling (SS).

3. Minutes from March 23, 2011 accepted and approved with correction.
A. Item 4B change amount to $750.00 (not $75.00)

4. Advertiser sign at Dunkin Donuts
A. A letter will be sent to the Select Board from EDC
B. Letter will outline what want to do and why
C. Gerard LeDuc will present the letter to the Select Board.

5. Letters to hotels and bed and breakfast
A. Letters have been prepared and signed
B. Will be sent out this week

6. Plan Charette
A. Need to contact Robin or Mike
B. Find out when they will be able to come and present recommendations
C. We need to put advance notice in the Suncook Sun so people will attend

7. Scott Spradling
A. Paid strategy
1. We would have to pay some advertiser to get our name “out there”
2. Think about who we want to target, i.e. manufacturing business
3. Build partnerships
B. Earned media strategy-they come here for an event
1.Use Balloon Rally to draw interest
a. Someone could post a U-tube video
b. Could draw interest of businesses out of state.
2. DRED could help us look for opportunities
a. They may have potential investors
b. Let them know when Charette will be presented
3. Have local businesses contact other companies
a. Have them put something positive on EDC web site.
b. Tell other companies about Pittsfield
C. NH Speedway
1. Scott can tell them about Pittsfield
2. People who go to Speedway events might have reason to come to Pittsfield
3. Indie cars will be there this year-try to get drivers and cars to come here
