APRIL 26, 2007
TOWN OF PITTSFIELD
HOUSING STANDARDS AGENCY
Town Hall, 85 Main Street
Pittsfield, New Hampshire
Present – Ch. Elkins, VCh. Dustin, Mr. Wolfe, Lt. Abell, Ms. Hast, Mr. Miskoe (Planning Board)
were present. Fred Okrent, HSA Administrator, was also present.
Meeting called to order at 7:01 PM at the Town Hall by Ch. Elkins.
1) Appointments
None
2) Meeting Minutes; Motion made by Mr. Wolfe to accept the minutes of 3/25/07 as presented, 2nd
by Ms. Hast. Motion passed, 5-0.
3) Old Business
a) Discussion of Magliozzi status and possible imposition of lien
b) Motion by Mr. Miskoe to have Mr. Okrent proceed with the imposition of a lien against 7
Marshall Court. 2nd by Dr. Dustin, Vote 4-0, 1 abs. Motion passed
4) New Business:
a) Status of Mr. McKechnie’s property and financial decisions. The decision was made to charge
Mr McKechnie for inspections for 3 units, and failure to show penalties for 3 units, twice, plus
accrued interest and to abate any fines. Motion made by Cedric Dustin, 2nd by Mike Wolfe. Vote
3-0, 2 abstentions, motion passed.
b) Discussion of letter from select board re Notices Of Violation. New procedures and letterhead
adopted. Motion by Mr. Wolfe, 2nd by Dr. Dustin, vote 4-0, 1 abs. Motion passed
5) Public Input:
None
6) Motion to adjourn: by Mr. Miskoe, seconded by Mr. Wolfe. All in favor, motion passed. Meeting
adjourned at 7:52 PM.
