Minutes
30 April 2007
Call to order: 7:10 PM
Members present: M. Wallace, S. Willoughby, P. Metcalf, N. Bates
Members absent: D. Keeley, L. Collier
Minutes of 25 March 2007 read and accepted.
Old Business:
1. Regional resource conservation commission (R2C2) quarterly
meeting of 26 April in Concord attended by M. Wallace. In
conjunction with NHDOT’s Community Technical Assistance
Program (CTAP) the first of four public presentations, impact of I-93
development and regional conservation planning, was explored.
The next R2C2/CTAP meeting will be a field trip to several
residential developments slated for 19 June.
2. Vice Chairman Jon Muenzinger has stepped down after many
years work on the Pittsfield conservation commission. His
expertise will be missed. Thank you.
3. Nancy Bates as been appointed to the PCC. Welcome.
New Business:
1. The Natural Resource Committee (NRC) as asked for funds for
the maintenance of Sergeant Town Forest Nature Trail. Motion
made and passed for the expenditure of not more than $100.
2. Nancy Bates was nominated to be the PCC representative on
the NRC.
3. Laural Collier was nominated to be the PCC representative at
the Old Home Day.
4. Mark Wallace will attend the R2C2 meeting . Any interested CC
or PB members are encouraged to join. Contact M. Wallace.
5. PCC will review the proposed R15 lot 30 development for
possible conservation-related input to the planning board.
