The swim area was discussed. Kathy suggested opening on Sunday to
see if it would be worthwhile since we had suggestions to do that last
summer.
The minutes of the March meeting were approved without the Winter
Fest part.
It was decided that we should authorize Jason to buy two adjustable
rims for up to $450.00. Balls and first aid expenses could come from the
supplies line of the budget for basketball next year.
Jason suggested doing a pumpkin carving activity this year for October
Fest/ Harvest Fest.
Jason will check on finding help for the fishing derby if Tina needs help
or can’t do it. He said maybe he could get Bob Gauthier to help.
We decided that we should put an ad for life guards and gate keepers
for the swim area. Minni will send it to Bill Provencial to put on the Town
website and she will put it in the Suncook Sun. It was also suggested
that she might put it in the Concord Monitor for a weekend or two.
Minni said she expected three guards to be returning and at least one of
them has gotten their WSI so we will be able to offer Red Cross
swimming lessons this year. Minni will get pay amounts from Cara. The
unofficial opening will be on June 16th or whatever day the last day of
school falls on. Kathy asked if Minni had copies of the job descriptions
for the swim area.
