NON-PUBLIC MEETING MINUTES OF TUESDAY, AUGUST 17, 2010

CALL TO ORDER

Non-Public Session called to order at 6:03 P.M. by Denise Morin, Chairman.

MEMBERS PRESENT

Denise Morin (DM)), Chairman, Fred Hast (FH), Eric Nilsson (EN), Paul Skowron (PS), Town Administrator and Delores A. Fritz, Recording Secretary.

MEMBERS NOT PRESENT

Ed Vein (EV), Vice-Chairman

GENERAL DISCUSSION

Reference was made to Dan Greene’s statements as noted in the Public Session Minutes of August 3, 2010. “He is an elected Town official, took an oath and made a statement to this Board which is a lie when he said it. He is not working with Fish & Game on a poaching issue. He is not. George Bachelder spoke with Fish & Game directly to check and was informed that they were not working on a poaching issue with Dan Greene. Dan Greene misrepresented himself as a private citizen. He took an oath as an elected public official. This Board should pursue an Ethics Violation.”

(DC) Motion that this Board send a formal complaint to Ethics Committee against Dan Greene based upon what is noted on the recording tape.
(EN) Second. After Discussion: Carried 2-1 (DM) (FH) Abstain.
Motion carries.

Discussion: (FH) I would like to read the Ethics Code first.

(EN) Motion to return to Public Session. (DC) Second. Carried 4-0.

Board returned to Public Session at 6:22 P.M.

Board voted to seal this Non-Public Session Minutes.

(DM) Motion to seal Non-Public Session Minutes of August 17, 2010. (EN) Second. Vote 2-2 (FH) and (DC). Motion dies because of lack of majority. Minutes will become part of Public Session Minutes of August 17, 2010.
