1. Meeting opened at 5:30.

2. Attendees: Ted Mitchell (TM), Lyn Roberts (LR), Linda Small (SM), Susan Muenzinger (SM),
Paul Sherwood (PSh), Ellen Barbasso (EB), and Paul Skowron (PS).

3. Minutes for August 7, 2013 accepted and approved.

4. NEREJ article
A. Reviewed draft of the article
B. Suggestions were made
C. TM will e-mail revised copy to members for final approval
D. Deadline for September 6 issue is August, for October issue it will be in September

5. Letter to Suncook Sun, requesting donations in order to put the article in the NEREJ, was approved

6. Materials packet for new businesses
A. To include: EDC business card, satisfaction survey, helpful websites, steps to starting a business,
SCORE information, Pittsfield boards and board member.

7. Responses to letter requesting business contact updates
A. 30 responses were received (about 1/3 of total sent out)
B. Information will be updated on town web site

8. Update on DOT property
A. Person from that department is on vacation until the end of the month
B. Meeting will be resceduled for the beginning of September

9. Other
A. Irving property-digging and soil testing is supposed to be done by the end of August-beginning
of September
B. PSh suggested we find out how to remove limited access restriction for Rt 28-TM will check
with Matt Monahan on what the procedure would be to petition for that

C. Discussed getting t-shirts for EDC using a logo “Strong businesses-Strong schools” color blue
was suggested

10. Next meeting will be September 4, 2013 at 5:30 P.M.
