1. Meeting opened at 5:33.

2. Attendees: Ted Mitchell (TM), Lyn Roberts (LR), Linda Small (SM), Susan Muenzinger (SM),
Paul Sherwood (PSh), Ellen Barbasso (EB), and Paul Skowron (PS) and Janice Osborne.

3. Minutes for June 19, 2013 accepted and approved.

4. Janice Osborne from NEMO (New England Mechanical Overlay)
A. Discussed lack of certified welders
B. Looking for property for a welding school and for additional parking
C. Program might work well with PMHS

5. NEREJ article
A. TM provided a first draft of the article that is to be published in the journal
B. Matt Monahan will check with the owner of the journal to see which is the best time to
showcase Pittsfield
C. We would like to put it in for 2 months

6. Materials packet for new businesses
A. Satisfaction survey
B. Contact list of boards and board members, Chamber of Commerce and CNHRPC
C. Helpful websites
D. SCORE

7. Other
A. Contact property owners ( of properties on Rt 28) about doing a property walk in the fall
1. EB will check on owners of hill behind dealership
2. TM will contact owners of property between Rts 107/28
B. Letter sent to DOT about property on Barnstead Rd asking for definitive letter about whether
they would sell it or not

8. Next meeting will be August 21, 2013 at 5:30 P.M.
