Amended minutes
Present, Denise Morin, Larry Konopka, Dan Ward, Robert Wharem, Donna Keeley, Scott Brown, John Webber
Larry Konopka advised he felt that he should not be Chairman and with new members coming in new positions
should be decided. Results were as follows
Chairman: Robert Wharem
Vice: Denise Morin
Secretary: John Webber
Decided meetings are to be held on 2d and 4th Monday of the Month. Meeting time will be at 1900
Next meeting set for August 27, 2007. This meeting will be open to public input.
Following meeting will be September 10, 2007
Rough Draft Mission Statement was set as follows:
To better the lives of people young and old the Pittsfield Drug Awareness and Education Committee is charged
with educating residents of the Town of Pittsfield about addiction to drugs and alcohol, and to help provided a
means to break that addiction, providing a better sense of community.
Discussion of mission statement and always updating goals.
Notice to be put in Suncook Valley Sun about public input meeting on 08/27/07
Discussion on using press releases after public meeting
Lots of open discussion about future projects.
Agenda set for August 27, 2007 meeting.
