CALL TO ORDER

Call to order at 3:00 P.M. by Larry Konopka, Chairman

APPLICATIONS and WARRANTS

1. Warrant for Timber Tax Levy, Tax Map R37, Lot 1

(PS) This Warrant for Timber Tax Levy is associated with the timber cut on
61 Ingalls Road, property owned by Leslie and Stephanie Conway. This came to our attention through a member of the public which was discussed with the Town Attorney as to how to handle this matter. This property is going up for foreclosure on Monday, February 18, 2013 and therefore, we are going through this expedited process. I, personally, went to 61 Ingalls Road and met with a gentleman, left the original paperwork in the house and one “pinned” to the house. It is for a small amount. Once the Warrant is presented to the Town Clerk they have until noon to pay the tax and then a lien can be placed on the property.

(EN) Motion to approve the Warrant for Timber Tax Levy, Tax Map R37, Lot 1 in the amount of $19.46. (GL) Second. Carried 3-0.

Discussion: We found ourselves in a situation responding to the public and what the Board has done is in the best interest of the Town. George Bachelder was able to estimate the stumpage.
