PITTSFIELD CONSERVATION COMMISSION

Call to order: 7:00 PM, by PCC Chairman Mark Wallace
Present: Chairman Mark Wallace (MW), Vice Chairman Bryan Mika, Secretary Diana Westgate (DW), Absent: Paul Metcalf (PM).
Meeting Minutes: The minutes of the January meeting have been accepted.
Treasury report: $78,306.85
Public input: None

Old Business
1. MW will do a status report on the Greeley property.
At the present time PCC is waiting for an issue to be resolved by the selling party. We continue to support this purchase as part of our mission statement.
1. PCC will do an annual review the Policies, procedures and by-Laws.
The PCC reviewed the revised 1999 By-Laws, Policies & Procedures. DW motioned that the they be accepted as presented.
BM seconded. Vote to accept was unanimous.
1. House demolition on Rocky Ridge – Issue tabled until after town elections.

New Business
1. Black Gun Forest/Gilman Lot next step – Inspection of the property will follow further discussion. The Survey has been posted by the state for computer access by the public.
2. Blazing of other town forests boundaries – The boundries of Rocky Ridge have been reviewed and no more blazing is needed at this time.
