JOSIAH CARPENTER LIBRARY TRUSTEES MEETING

Minutes of the Josiah Carpenter Library Trustees meeting 1/10/2007

The meeting of the Trustees of the Josiah Carpenter Library was called to order at 6:40 pm on January 10, 2007, in the main section of the library.

In attendance were, Leslie Vogt, Director; Bob Lemer; Mary Schelble and Bill Provencal.

The minutes of the previous meeting were read and accepted.

Public Hearing

In accordance with RSA 202-A:4-ciii to put before the public the action to be taken on all anticipated money from the state, federal, or other governmental unit or any private source that has become available during the 2006 calendar year.

Public Hearing was opened at 6:42

The Treasurer’s report of income (not including Town of Pittsfield Appropriation) for the period January 1, 2006-December 31, 2006 was $6,119.75. The report was reviewed and moved to accept as presented.

Public Hearing was closed at 6:48

Old Business:

Review of Technology Plan Draft.

§ Changes were discussed to the Technology Plan and Leslie will re-submit at the February meeting.

Reports:

Directors report was presented.

Deposit Box:

§ Bob Lemer questioned whether we should continue to use, considering the $25.00 fee. The value of continued use was discussed. Bob will bring in the contents of the box so it can be determined if we should continue is usage.

Treasurer’s Report

§ Treasurer’s Report for month of December. Motion made to accept.

§ Annual Treasurer’s Report for 2006 was presented. Motion made to accept.

New Business:

Review Annual Reports. Suggestions made as to the statistics in the report and other items. Leslie will made changes and will e-mail the corrections to the Trustees.

The next meeting of the Trustees will be held on February 14, 2007 at 6:30 pm. The meeting was adjourned at 8:12 pm.
