Pittsfield Economic Development Committee
January 8, 2014
1. Meeting opened at 5:00.
2. Attendees: Ted Mitchell (TM), Lyn Roberts (LR), Linda Small (LS), Susan Muenzinger (SM), Paul Skowron (PSk), and Ellen Barbasso (EB).
3. Minutes for December 18, 2013 were accepted and approved with changes. On 5A just say “Property on Barnstead Rd and Rt 28.”
4. PSNH Grant money update
A. TM and LR tried to get in touch with Chamber of Commerce
B. Unable to reach Louie Houle
C. Need to arrange a date for EDC to go to a Chamber meeting to discuss signage.
5. Letter to Mrs. Carson
A. Find out if property is still for sale
B. Editing included-stating the date we walked the property (November 9), and saying “You can contact me at” then show the number.
6. EDC Mission statement
A. Looked at mission statement from several years ago and one that TM put together
B. Combined wording from both of them
C. Will finalize at next meeting
7. Other
A. Communication tree
1. Prioritize information flow
2. Each committee will have to make flow chart as well
3. At joint board meeting will make up an in/out flow chart.
B. Kentek building
1. Stu Arnett, Matt Monahan, Clayton Wood and realtor will go to old building
2. What can be used to help get it sold?
C. Joint board chair meeting will be January 22, 2014 at 6:30.
D. Joint board meeting will be February 8, 2014 at 9:00
E. Matt Monahan working on winter newsletter
F. TM working on report for Town Meeting-also put it in Suncook Sun.
8. Next meeting will be January 22, 2014 at 5:30 P.M.
