MEETING MINUTES OF JULY 31, 2008
CALL TO ORDER
Call to order at 4:33 P.M., by Larry Konopka, Chairman.
MEMBERS PRESENT

Larry Konopka (LK), Chairman, Linda Small (LS), Vice-Chairman,

Ed Vien (EV), Denise Morin (DM), and Delores Fritz, Recording Secretary.

MEMBERS ABSENT

None.

PUBLIC INPUT

None.

AGENDA REVIEW

(LK) Building Inspector Liaison, Non-Public 91A:3 II (a) and (b).

NON-PUBLIC SESSION

(DM) Motion to go into Non-Public Session per 91 A:3 II (a) and (b).

(LS) Second. Carried 4-0. Members of the Board were polled individually and all agreed.

Board went into Non-Public Session at 4:46 P.M.

Board returned to Public Session at 6:30 P.M.

(DM) Motion to seal Non-Public Minutes of July 31, 2008. (EV) Second. Carried 4-0.

Building Inspector Liaison

(LS) Motion to appoint Larry Konopka as Building Inspector liaison.

(DM) Second. Carried 3-1 (LK) Abstain.

Non-Public Minutes

(LK) noted that Non-Public Minutes are now password sealed in the computer system.

(DM) Motion to approve Linda Small access to password sealed Non-Public Minutes with receipt of computer “password” for any future reference. (LK) Second. Carried 4-0.

Town of Pittsfield ID for Employees

(LS) noted that Town ID’s do not designate an expiration date. She suggested ID’s be confiscated and reassigned with expiration dates though questioned how it could be done. (DM) pointed out that employees do not really have a date that could be utilized for this purpose. (EV) suggested that when an employee leaves, his ID should be returned to Town.

(LK) suggested that perhaps, from now on, expiration dates could be noted. Board will approach issue at future date.

(LS) Motion to adjourn. (EV) Second. Carried 4-0.
