June 19, 2013

1. Meeting opened at 5:32.

2. Attendees: Ted Mitchell (TM), Lyn Roberts (LR), Linda Small (SM), Susan Muenzinger (SM),
Paul Sherwood (PSh), Ellen Barbasso (EB), and Paul Skowron (PS).

3. Minutes for June 5, 2013 accepted and approved.

4. Article for NEREJ -(How to pay for it)
A. The Select Board did not approve a motion to use money from EDC funds
B. Contact people to make a donation for the article to be printed
C. PS suggested that SVRDC make an advance to be paid back by EDC when funds are there
D. Paul Sherwood made a motion to solicit the SVRDC to make an advance to the EDC to pay
for the article
1. Susan Muenzinger seconded the motion.
2. All approved, motion passed.

5. Regional Visioning Plan
A. Instead of an all board meeting Matt Monahan suggested an EDC meeting with a few of the
downtown businesses
B. Discuss what they like about being in the region, and what can be improved
C. Tentative dates Saturday September 7 or 21- need to verify with Matt and Stuart Arnett

6. July 10 do a walk-about of some downtown businesses. Meet at 10:00 A.M. at Town Hall

7. Next meeting will be August 7, 2013 at 5:30 P.M.

8. Meeting closed at 5:55 P.M.
