Call to order: 7:10 PM
Attendance: M. Wallace; J. Munzinger, P. Metcalf, L. Collier
Secretaries report of 22 May – vote to accept as amended. Motioned by LC; 2nd by JM; 3y; 1n
Financial report: Read and accepted.
Old business:
1. Tucci update – application packet per DES reviewed.
2. DES completion letters (2) noted and filed
3. Tan road – MW will call DES for update.
4. It is noted Roy’s Salvage received a “Green Yard” award.
5. Ethics committee – PCC is in compliance.
6. Dustin Barker Town Forest – Mr. Moreno is marking trees for the selective cut.
New Business:
1. Old Home Day –
2. PCC will have a conservation education booth.

Hello Donna & Susan.
Missed you both.
1. Tucci – no action…DES has it in its ball park. Packet in the in box.
2. Tan Road…Laural very concerned. DES has it as a very low priority and I
agree.
3. Old Home Day – Conservation magnets are coming. Paul is going to get a tree
that we can use for conservation public relations. He idea was floated that we for
25 cents we give out a magnet, tri-folded PCC info sheet and a tree raffle.
Donna, do we need a permit?
Do either of you know how to make a tri-folded info sheet?
##I talked to Tami Colby this morning and got us a booth next to the historical
society. I have a folding table & a couple of chairs. Add an umbrella and we are
in business …hours 8 – 3 PM.
4. 24th July – next PCC meeting.
PCC now has some money and an opportunity to do something.
Realizing we are on the PCC for a little while, and then are soon gone….
We need to determine what projects the PCC is interested in,…then get them into
an order of action. The result can be that as we depart each of us can point to an
improvement we have caused to happen in Pittsfield.
Example: The last big push was the Sargent town Forest trail system…kudos to
that group.
Bring your ideas. Think needs, costs, resources that can help us do the project.
