1. Meeting opened at 5:30.

2. Attendees: Ed Vien (EV), Deb Jordan (DJ), Lyn Roberts (LR), Susan Muenzinger (SM),
Ellen Barbasso (EB), Linda Small (LS), Paul Skowron (PS), Matt Monahan (MM) representing
CNHRPC, and Clayton Wood.

3. Minutes from May 20, 2009 approved and accepted as written.

4. Wi-Fi
A. Clayton Wood gave us an update on the Wif-Fi
1. He sent an e-mail including a link to the town wi-fi
2. There was a discussion on how the sponsor ads should appear
3. Picture of Pittsfield on top and the town seal is OK
4. Random rotating sponsor in the middle
5. Sponsor ads on the sides
6, “Brought to you by Pittsfield EDC” with a link to the EDC
7. “More information about Pittsfield” with links to town web site
B. Deb Jordan made a motion to appoint Clayton Wood as the manager of the town Wi-Fi and
as the tech support person.
1. Seconded by Susan Muenzinger
2. Unanimously approved by attending members of the EDC.
C. Businesses for direct mail solicitation
1.Need contacts for some of the businesses
2. Letters waiting for final approval

5. RSA-162-N1
A. The whole town is one census tract
B. Median income for Pittsfield is #38,000.00 (within the range for this RSA
C. MM can fill out the application and bring it to the next meeting

6. Business Survey
A. EV came up with about 10 questions for the survey.
B. We will bring other suggestions to the next meeting.

7. Charrette Plan
A. It was suggested that we should try to get an updated Charrette Plan for Pittsfield
B. Localize it more than the previous one-mostly within the downtown area
The next Charrette applications will be due February 26, 2010.
