1. Meeting opened at 5:35

2. Attendees: Ed Vien (EV), Lyn Roberts (LR), Ted Mitchell (TM), Helen Schiff (HS),
Ellen Barbasso (EB), Paul Skowron (PS), and Matt Monahan (MM) from SNHRPC.

3. Minutes from May 26, 2010 accepted and approved.

4. WKXL
A. EV contacted the radio station
B. Promote Pittsfield as being one of the towns to have a Design Charette.
C. Unable to speak with person directly-left a message and waiting for a call back

5. Potential sign to be placed at Dunkin Donuts
A. Dimensions 4ft high by 6 ft wide
B. 4 inch letters
C. Will be used to advertise local businesses in town
D. Businesses will pay for cost of sign.
E. Businesses will be listed top to bottom on a rotating basis

6. USDA-AARA Funds for Community Infrastructure
A. Stimulus funds are still available
B. MM trying to get funds from this for the Park and Ride
C. Towns with good potential for getting funds have less population, low income.
D. A non-profit agency like the SVRDC or the town would get the money.

6. Web site issues
A. Information for 79E and 162 N is missing from the site, can’t link to it
B. Need to add tool box with forms, map and contacts for different departments

7. SVRDC meeting recap
A. Met with landowners of buildings on Main Street
B. Want to get an idea of how they visualize how Main Street should look
C. Discussion about a business incubator

8. Next meeting June 23, 2010.
