MINUTES

Pittsfield School Board Meeting
6:00 p.m., Thursday, March 15, 2012
Pittsfield Elementary School

I. CALL TO ORDER

Members Present: Clayton Wood, Chairperson
Elizabeth Adams
Kathy Corliss
Mary Paradise
Mike Wolfe

Others Present: John Freeman, Superintendent of Schools
Tobi Gray Chassie, District Administrator
Lois Stevens, Director of Student Services
Doug Kilmister, Principal, PES
Bob Bickford, Principal, PMHS

Chairperson Wood called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.

II. ANNUAL SCHOOL DISTRICT MEETING

A. ARTICLES

The articles were reviewed for a final time; identification of the board member that will be making and seconding motions was confirmed.

Presentations will be made after Article VIII has been moved and seconded.

B. INFORMATIONAL MEETING

On April 17, 2012, the Board will host an informational meeting on the topic of the PES maintenance needs.

III. RECESS

On a motion made by Ms. Paradise and seconded by Mr. Wolfe, the Board voted unanimously to recess the meeting at 6:52 p.m., for the purpose of conducting the Annual School District Meeting.

IV. ADJOURNMENT

Please note that the School Board meeting will not meet on Thursday, March 22, 2012. The next meeting will be on Thursday, April 12, 2012, at 5:15 p.m.

On a motion made by Ms. Adams and seconded by Ms. Corliss, the Board voted unanimously to adjourn the meeting at 7:57 p.m.
