MEETING MINUTES OF WEDNESDAY, MAY 19, 2010

CALL TO ORDER

Call to order at 9:04 A.M., by Denise Morin, Chairman.

MEMBERS PRESENT

Denise Morin (DM), Chairman, Fred Hast (FH), Don Chase, (DC), and Paul Skowron (PS), Town Administrator.

AGENDA REVIEW

APPOINTMENTS

1. 9:00 AM -NHDOT-Concord Hill Road Project

The Board of Selectmen met with representatives of the State of New Hampshire Department of Transportation. Michael Servantes was representing District 3 Maintenance, and Tim Poodey and Reed Deinhart were representing the Bridge Maintenance Division. Michael Servantes described the Concord Hill project to the Selectmen. The issues reviewed included the electric, water, and telephone components, plus the work that would be addressed within the storm water drainage system.

Matters that were further reviewed included the type and style for the railing installation and the detour plan. The representative of DOT believed that the project, once started, would take 10 weeks.

The Selectmen were advised by Michael Servantes that Concord Hill Road would be closed for 10 weeks. The detour plan was reviewed and discussed. The Board of Selectmen emphasized that the proper signage was needed for the detours and signage should be posted directing people into Pittsfield.
