Pittsfield Economic Development Committee
November 4, 2009

1. Meeting opened at 5:35.

2. Attendees: Ed Vien (EV), Susan Muenzinger (SM), Lyn Roberts (LR), Helen Schiff (HS),
Ellen Barbasso (EB), Linda Small (LS), Paul Skowron (PS), Matt Monahan (MM)
representing CNHRPC, Scott Spradling (SS) from the Spradling Group LLC, and Clayton
Wood.

3. Minutes from October 21, 2009 accepted and approved.
Minutes from October 28 accepted and approved with one correction. The initials for
Cher Keuenhoff should be CK not CH.

4. Website Update from Clayton Wood
A. There was a special meeting of the Web Site Committee on October 20, and a letter
was sent to EDC members.
B. People using the site currently have no problem using it.
C.Website committee does not think it necessary to completely change the web site
D. Can make a sub domain for economic developemnt to be more business friendly
E. Need changes by November 17 so they can get started on modifying the site
F. Lyn Roberts made a motion to accept the Website Committee’s proposal to make
changes to the economic development part of the town website.
1. Seconded by Ed Vien.
2. Approved unanimously.

5. DOT Signage
A. EV contacted DOT office. Someone will come to our meeting
B. If EDC sponsor’s a sign another business can also go on it to share cost
C. EV will give 2 possible dates November 18 and December 2.

6. Charette
A. Some of the property owners are interested in having a new one done
B. Next request for a Charette is due February
C. A motion was made to have MM prepare request for the Charette by Lyn Roberts.

2. All approved

7. Next meeting Wednesday November 18, 2009 at 5:30 P.M.
