1. Meeting opened at 5:32.

2. Attendees: Ed Vien (EV), Ted Mitchell (TM), Lyn Roberts (LR), Linda Small (LS),
Susan Muenzinger (SM), Ellen Barbasso (EB), Gerard LeDuc (GL), Matt Monahan (MM)
from CNHRPC, and Clayton Wood (CW).

3. Minutes from October 12, 2011 accepted with corrections. At 5A correct name to Ed Vien, and at
9A1 correct the word “information”

4. Wi-Fi information from Clayton Wood
A. Signal strength is low
1. Only able to connect from Jitters and that was sporadic
2. Not able to connect from stores on Carroll St or Depot St.
3. May need repeaters in buildings
B. MM will contact Single Digits to have them check out the equipment

5. Plan NH Charrette follow-up
A. EV got a call from Scott Collin
1. Will make arrangements to meet with him, John Wacker and members of SVRDC
2.Need to do a feasibility study for property and Phase 1 and Phase 2 for pollution
B. We need to have some control of property
C Find a developer or potential owner

6. Other
A. EV and MM will make a presentation to Historical Society about EDC past to the present
B. MM will contact real estate agent for Medical Center
C. MM prepared reports on future economic opportunities and vacancies of rental units
1. The state projections for some industries could be helpful to Pittsfield
a. These include arts and entertainment, construction, health care and social assistance and
educational services especially for trade or vocational classes
b. Pittsfield has high vacancy rate for rental units compared to state average
