Meeting Minutes 10/31/07
1) Meeting called to order at 5:15 pm. In attendance: Ed Vien (EV), James Hetu (JH), Ellen Barbasso (EBa), Lyn
Roberts (LR). Also attending: Linda Small (LS, Leon Kenison (LK), and Susan Muenzinger (SM)
2) There was no quorum so we could not vote on any item.
3) YMCA
a. Select Board approved WMCA survey.
b. Matt has been advised and will get started on it
4) Additional members
a. A letter was put in the Suncook Sun
b. LS will speak to Eric Bahr about recruiting someone from Planning Board
5) Sewer and water.
a. We need to know what would be the benefit and/or advantages of bringing sewer and water across 28 at
several locations
b. Concord Hill Rd
c. Levitt Rd
d. Sewer already on Barnstead Rd behind Pittsfield Weave
6) Available property
a. Discussion about whether town should buy building next to Library
1. It is condemned
1. Currently owned by mortgage company
2. Could tear it down and make parking lot for library
b. Maybe we should focus on property we can improve and rent out or sell
c. Peter Phipps could get in touch with CATCH to see if they could help us (Concord Area Trust for
Community Housing)
7) Posting minutes
a. Minutes should be sent to Bill Provincal to be posted on Town Web page
8) Kenteka.
Ed will make contact and arrange a meeting with the owner
9) We need to approve the Strategy at the next meeting
10) Meeting was adjourned at 6:00 pm.
