Minutes from the September meeting were approved with minor
corrections.
Zac and Paula reported from PYW on plans for the haunted woods
for Harvestfest. A number of details were discussed. Jesse said he
had a generator that they could use for power. Minni will ask the town
crew to drain the pool halfway and we will rope off the water for
safety. She will also get a key to Zac for the recreation area. They are
looking into having a fire. Plans for Harvestfest were reviewed. Kathy,
Jesse, and Minni will meet at the area on Wednesday to inspect the
lighting. It was agreed that we would ask Jesse’s wife to spend up to
$50 for decorations for the event. Vendors were discussed. It was
agreed that we will continue to work on getting confirmation from
vendors.
The committee approved spending the $1650 needed for the building
inspector, Mike McLaughlin, to make repairs on the Dustin Park
gazebo from repairs and supplies budget. He has a volunteer crew to
work on the project. We have asked for an increase in our budget for
next year, but if the work is completed this fall, we will adjust our
budget proposal.
Discussion of the basketball program was tabled as Jason was not in
attendance.
