Minutes
September 23, 2013

The Committee met at the Washington House Lot.

Carole opened the meeting at 6:35 pm.

Members Present: Carole, Tina, Dawn, Ted, Nancy, Carol, Gail and Nicole

Members Absent: Theresa, Jason and Paula

Secretary’s Report: No report

Treasurer’s Report: No report

Old Business:

Nicole showed the committee a slide show of the plants she wants to use in the Washington House lot. The slides also included a picture of the plants superimposed on the garden. There was some discussion and a plant list was approved and Nicole was authorized to purchase and present her receipts to Tina.

A date was set for Friday October 4th for Carol, Ted, Gail and Nicole to install the plants. Carole, Carol and Nancy will lay down mulch on Sunday the 6th.

There was a discussion about the upcoming Family Event at Bartons Lumber. Nancy, Carole, Tina, Gail, and Ted can work for the entire event. Carol and Nicole can only work through part of the morning.

Nicole showed the display board she recommended purchasing. It was approved and she agreed to create the display. Gail, Carol, and Dawn which each pick up a dozen donuts. Nicole is getting donated pumpkins from Hannafords and Nancy is also bringing pumpkins. Ted will supply the cider and coffee. All agreed to meet at 8:00 am to set up

Our next meeting will be our annual pot luck on Thursday October 24th at 6:00 pm at Nancy’s.
