September 4, 2013

1. Meeting opened at 5:35.

2. Attendees: Ted Mitchell (TM), Lyn Roberts (LR), Linda Small (SM), Susan Muenzinger (SM),
Paul Sherwood (PSh), Ellen Barbasso (EB), and Paul Skowron (PS) and Bob Legg

3. Minutes for August 21, 2013 accepted and approved.

4. NEREJ article
A. Bob Legg provided pictures for the article.
B. TM will forward information to Matt Monahan
C. Matt Monahan will send information to the journal
D. Put it in for one month at this time-later we will decide when to put it in for a second month
E. Donation letter will be put into the Suncook Sun next week

5. Joint board meeting
A. Date set for September 28, 2013 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
B. Matt Monahan and Stuart Arnett will be able to attend
C. Need to set an agenda
D. Send notice to board members

6. CEDS (Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy)
A. Meeting was 9/3/13
B. Ted is on sub committee to set goals and objectives
C. Next meeting will be in October
D. Manchester has a certified site program
1. Site can be preapproved for industry and have 5 years to develop a piece of land
2. Once they start there is a two year time limit to complete the project

7. Update on DOT property
A.TM has contacted Matt Monahan about available dates to meet with DOT
B.He will meet with Matt and Nick at CNHRPC before meeting with DOT
C. Are they open to selling the property or will it remain as is?

8. Other
A. Wendy from Citizens Bank will come to next meeting to discuss money available to towns
B. TM got t-shirts, next he will have them printed with EDC logo and Strong Communities/Strong
Businesses
C. Family Dollar was supposed to be landscaped-TM will check on site plans
D. AMENICO is willing to have the garden, don’t know what plants to get
E. Check old project list for next meeting

9. Next meeting will be September 18, 2013 at 5:30 P.M.

10. Meeting closed at 6:10 P.M.
