MEETING MINUTES OF TUESDAY, MAY 13, 2014

CALL TO ORDER

Call to order at 6:00 P.M. by Larry Konopka, Chairman

MEMBERS PRESENT

Larry Konopka (LK), Chairman, Eric Nilsson (EN), Vice-Chairman,
Gerard LeDuc (GL), Albert Douglas (AD), Michael Williams (MW),
Town Administrator, and Delores Fritz, Recording Secretary.

MEMBERS ABSENT:

Linda Small (LS)

NEW BUSINESS
ACTION ITEMS

1. Appointment of William R. Tahnk – Library Trustee Alternate

(AD) Did we get an application? (MW) Yes and it is the reason why we are meeting tonight.

(GL) Motion to approve appointment of William R. Tahnk as Library Trustee Alternate, term expires 2015. (EN) Second. Carried 4-0.

2. Gift for Cara Marston

(LK) As you all know, she has been helping us out in the absence of a Town Administrator

(EN) Motion to approve a gift certificate of $100 for Cara Marston and letter of appreciation. (AD) Second. Carried 4-0.

(MW) to do.

OLD BUSINESS

1. HSA Fees

(LK) Selectman Small is not here tonight and she has requested that we table this until the next Board meeting. We have received a letter concerning the fee increase from Paul Rogers. (EN) read letter into the Minutes. (See Attached.)

(EN) Motion to table this matter to be addressed when a full Board is present. (GL) Second. Carried 4-0.

Bill Elkins: This is not a HSA pay increase but rather an increase to cover expenses. No one would be getting an increase in salary.

2. Update on Advertising – Police Chief

(MW) Pending.

CHECKS and MANIFESTS

(EN) Motion to approve Accounts Payable and Checks Register.
(GL) Second. Carried 4-0.

(EN) Motion to approve Payroll and Direct Deposit. (GL) Second. Carried 4-0.

MINUTES

1. Public Session Minutes May 6, 2014

(EN) Motion to approve Public Session Minutes of May 6, 2014 with Correction. (AD) Second. Carried 2-0. (AD) and (GL) Abstain.

Correction:

Page 1, Members Absent: Should include Gerard LeDuc.

Page 4, Paragraph 1 Motion should read: …….Town Administrator Michael Williams, Chairman Larry Konopka and Vice-Chairman Eric Nilsson.

NON-PUBLIC SESSION

None.
