1. Meeting opened at 5:39.

2. Attendees: Ted Mitchell (TM), Lyn Roberts (LR), Linda Small (LS), Paul Sherwood (PSh),
Ellen Barbasso (EB), Paul Skowron (PS) Matt Monahan (MM) from CNHRPC and Stuart Arnett
(SA) from Arnett Development Group

3. Minutes for March 20, 2013 accepted and approved.

4. Review of presentation for joint meeting of boards and committees in Pittsfield by Stuart Arnett
and Matt Monahan.
A. Powerpoint presentation by Stuart Arnett
1. “Science, Art and Jazz of Economy Development” in a small community
a. Science-there are rules-some things work, some things do not
b. Art-communities are unique
c. Jazz-there are different musicians speaking back and forth, improvise with each other
2. There are different stages of economy development
3. 3 goals-retain existing businesses, expand businesses, attract new businesses
B. 30 minute question/answer discussion will follow facilitated by Matt Monahan and Stuart Arnett
C. How do we work together to make community better?
D. Have copy of current Master Plan available
E. Meeting will take place Saturday May 4, 2013 at Senior Center room in the Community Center
(cost $150.00)

5.UNH Co-Operative extension seminar
A. Take place at PHMS Lecture Hall
B. TM will provide coffee
C. L R and LS will provide muffins
D. Information and invitation will be in the Suncook Sun

6. Other
A. Kentek applying for 79E
B. Irving will be testing ground at property on Barnstead Rd, we should request they test the
founationof the building for pollution also
C. Anna Colon-Pagan is not able to work on EDC Facebook page. PSH will check with a few
other students who may be interested
D. Only a few surveys that were sent to Pittsfield businesses have been returned

7. Next meeting will be April 17, 2013 at 5:30 PM.
