Pittsfield Economic Development Committee
February 26, 2014

1. Meeting opened at 5:33.

2. Attendees: Ted Mitchell (TM), Lyn Roberts (LR), Linda Small (LS), Paul Sherwood (PSh),
Susan Muenzinger (SM), Ellen Barbasso (EB), Paul Skowron (PSk) and Donna Ward (DW).

3. Minutes for February 12, 2014 were accepted and approved.

4. TM drafted a letter to an urgent care facility that may be interested in coming to Pittsfield.

5. Legacy Medical Solutions-an email was sent to them inviting them to an EDC meeting

6. EDC Flow Chart
A. We reviewed the flow chart between EDC and other boards, committees and public
B. A suggestion was made to use similar colors for groups that are similar
C. Make the arrow on Website Committee one way going outward

7. Forum action items
A. Changed the phone number on the Town website to show Ted Mitchell’s number as an EDC
contact
B. Paul Sk sent a message to Kara (at the Town Hall) to have Ted’s phone number in the mailbox.

8. Earth and Elm Grove
A. Need to put information about available spaces on the EDC web site
B. Elm Grove has store fronts available on Main St
C. Earth has spaces available in their buuilding

9. Identify potential partnerships for projects
A. LS suggested that we should come up with a project first then seek out potential investors
B. Stuart Arnett may be able to help with that also
C. TM will check with other people to see if there is anyone else who may be interested.

10. Next All Chairmen meeting will be March 5, 2014 at 6:30

11. Next EDC meeting will be March 12, 2014 at 5:30 P.M.
