The minutes from October, November, and December were approved
as written.
Dredging at the recreation area was discussed. George Bachelder
said we have to go ahead with the permit process. Gen said that he
would need a letter from the Select Board naming him as the
representative to actively meet with the state. He reported that sand
could be added to the beach no more than every five years. He also
reported that the state wants more cross sections of the pool and that
any material dug out would have to be taken away. Minni said she
would get the video of the original building of the pool from Gilbert
Bleckmann from Rotary if she could. That might help with
measurements. Gene and Kathy planned to meet at the recreation
area on the following Saturday to try to get more cross sections.
Rhythm and Movement is done as there was not enough interest to
continue the program. Heidi Meyer talked with Kathy and said she
would get back to her with suggestions for other preschool programs.
The Easter Egg Hunt will be held at Drakes Field on Saturday, March
22 at 9:00AM. We will use the gazebo as home base. We will meet at
7:30 that morning to hide the eggs. Kathy will be getting the eggs and
the bunny suit. Minni will get volunteers and someone to wear the
bunny suit. If Kathy gets empty eggs, Jesse said his wife would help
with stuffing them.
The rest of the meeting was used to finalize plans for Winterfest.
