January 22, 2014
1. Meeting opened at 5:30.
2. Attendees: Ted Mitchell (TM), Lyn Roberts (LR), Linda Small (LS), Susan Muenzinger (SM), Paul Sherwood (PSh), and Ellen Barbasso (EB).
3. Minutes for January 8, 2014 were accepted and approved.
4. PSNH Grant money update
A. TM and LR met with Chamber of Commerce
1. They have to plan on what to put on a new sign
2. Meetings are once a month
B. EDC will assist in writing a letter to PSNH
5. Mission Statement
A. Revise the wording
B. Use the statement at the joint board meeting
C. Have copies available for Town Meeting
6. Vision Statement – postponed until next meeting
7. Joint board meeting will be February 8, 2014 at 9:00 A.M.
A. All chair meeting is tonight at 6:30.
B. Discussion will be on inter-board communications
C. Communicate with community – encourage all boards to put something in Suncook Sun at least once per year
D. Try to have all chair meetings the first Wednesday of the month
E. Letter going out from Board of Selectmen to all boards about the joint meeting
8. Some people from other committees are invited to view available properties
9. Other
A. TM is preparing an article to put in the Town Meeting Report
B. CEDS meeting-They are finalizing goals and objectives
1. They are finalizing goals and objectives
2. See if any town has any project that needs funding
3. Able to look for funding from government and private sources
C. Safe Routes to School – letter was sent to DOT requesting additional funds to finish project
D. TM will send an email to photographer to verify the dates he provided services for the EDC
10. Next meeting will be February 12, 2014 at 5:30 P.M.
