1. Meeting opened at 5:34.

2. Attendees: Ted Mitchell (TM), Lyn Roberts (LR), Linda Small (LS), Paul Sherwood (PSh),
Susan Muenzinger (SM), Ellen Barbasso (EB), and Deb Godin.

3. Minutes for May 28, 2014 were accepted and approved.

4. Deb Godin from Sage Wellness Center
A. Wants to host a farmer’s market
B. Was originally told she could do it, there were no obstacles
C. Then was told she would have to apply for a variance, notify abutters and
go before the zoning board, and planning board for a site review
D. There was some discussion about previous farmer’s markets did not have to go through these
steps
E. She would like to open by the beginning of July
F. Would it be possible to waive fees since it is a non-profit
G. The EDC is supportive of this endeavor
H. TM will bring this up at the all chair meeting tonight

5. Ted Mitchell had a meeting with Newton Kershaww III
Discussion about building that was purchased by Elm Grove Companies

6. Other items on the agenda tabled until the next meeting

7. Next EDC meeting will be June 25, 2014 at 5:30 P.M.
