1. Meeting opened at 5:30.

2. Attendees: Ed Vien (EV), Ted Mitchell (TM), Lyn Roberts (LR), Susan Muenzinger (SM),
Linda Small (LS), Ellen Barbasso (EB), Paul Skowron (PS), Gerard Leduc (GL),
Matt Monahan (MM) from CNHRPC, Scott Ward (SW), and Eric Barbasso (EB2).

3. Minutes from April 20, 2011 accepted and approved.

4. Advertiser sign at Dunkin Donuts
A. The proposal was brought to the Select Board.
B. They would like a contract drawn up
1. A 3 person committee was formed to make up the contract-Linda Small, Lyn Roberts
and Ellen Barbasso
2. Provide information on how it will be implemented
3.Cost of sign and how much it would cost to be put on post
C. They voted to allocate $1,000 for the cost of the sign
D. There will be a new manager at DD-EV will meet with that person
E. Cost to post $35.00 for two months
F. Only Pittsfield businesses should be there
G. Profits to be put into EDC marketing fund to pay our expenses

5. Marketing Pittsfield
A. Family Dollar Store will be coming in September, 2011
B. MM will contact Mike Bergeron at DRED to meet with us in June
1. Help us form a plan of action
2. See what adjunct businesses would fit in here
3. Discuss our proposal for a business fair
C. Contact Silas St James at PMHS AV dept to get students involved in video taping Balloon
Rally
D. EB2 suggested we put Pittsfield, NH on Facebook
1. Businesses can “Friend” the town
2. People can start to “Friend” the town
3. Soon others will hear about us

6. Plan Charette
A. MM spoke to Robin
1. Work being done now to put book together
2. Presentation will be done in June (approximately)
B. We would like to get boards before that-MM will call again
C. SVRDC needs the boards for their planning

7. Next meeting May 18, 2011.
