MONDAY, NOVEMBER 2, 2009

HOUSING STANDARDS AGENCY

Present –Ch. Elkins, _P_, VCh. Ms. Hast, _P_, Mr. Bailey, _P_, Lt. Abell, _P_, Mr. Provencher, _P_, ??? _A_ (Planning Board). Fred Okrent, _P_ HSA Administrator,
Meeting called to order at 7:21 PM at the Town Hall by Ch. Elkins

Public Present:

1) Appointments
None

2) Old Business
Report on the court action brought in the Fleury matter. Settleement was reached with Mr. Fleury agreeing to pay all fees, interest, & costs and to submit to a new inspection. Half of the fine was forgiven. Total payment, excluding the new inspection will be $1105.75, payable in six monthly installments, due on the first business day of the month.. First payment was made on 11/2/09.

3) New Business:
Administrator Okrent requested a performance bonus based on his successful performance in 2 cases brought before the Superior Court. After discussion, a motion was made by Mr. Bailey, seconded by Mr. Provencher to award a $125 bonus. Vote was 5-0, motion passed

4) Meeting Minutes;
Lt. Abell made a motion that the minutes of the meeting of October 5, 2009 be accepted as presented; 2nd by Mr. Provencher, Motion passed 5 to 0.

5) Public Input:
None

6) Motion to adjourn:
Lt. Abell, 2nd by Ms. Hast, 5 in favor, 0 against, motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 7:46 PM. Next meeting: 12/07/09
