1. Meeting opened at 5:34.

2. Attendees: Ted Mitchell (TM) (chairing for Ed Vien) , Lyn Roberts (LR), Linda Small (LS),
Susan Muenzinger (SM), Ellen Barbasso (EB), Gerard LeDuc (GL), Paul Skowron (PS),
and Matt Monahan (MM) from CNHRPC.

3. Minutes from September 28, 2011 accepted and approved

4. Downtown rental space for Christmas
A. Three out of four spaces need to be altered in order to be used
B. One place has a space available but is non-commital about using renting it short term
C. A suggestion was made to give the property owners a list of vendors to see if they are interested

5. Plan NH Charette follow-up
A. Ed Vien was checking to see what bank owns the property in Charrette area-CIT Leasing
B. Pittsfield Medical Associates owns the former Pittsfield Medical building
C MM will contact CRDC -Steve Heavener to see how he can help us
D. SVRDC will discuss how to proceed now.

6. Facebook Login/YouTube
A. Zeb put up a new page on Facebook then deleted it
B. MM will get it set up again, and make sure the first one is deleted.
C. MM will contact John Freeman to see if there is a high school student who could help us

7. Historic Trail from Dunkin Donuts
A. Was the old fairgrounds-use it as a starting point
B. A suggestion was made to have brochures made up about the Historic Trail rather than put a sign
up

8. There is a new owner of the Union Block
A. TM suggested to EV to have the new owner come in to talk to the EDC
1. Discuss what to use the building for
2.Check to see what is it zoned for at the present time
B. Let him know EDC’s vision for the property
1. MM will get information about number of current apartments in town
2. How many vancancies there are

9. Other
A. MM checking with Clayton Wood about testing the WiFi system
1. Get information about how far the signal is dispersed
2. Invite him to the next meeting
B. Brownfields
1. State is now the lead agency with 3 regional planning commissions
2. In a better position to get money that is available
3. Need to know owner of propety that would be considered
