Trustees Meeting

Those Present: Elsie Morse, Cara Marston and Bill Provencal

Secretary’s Report:
Secretary’s minutes of June 17 were accepted as written.
Treasurers Report:
Treasurers report of May 31 was examined and discussed. Motion made to accept the Treasurers Report:
Approved a request for $2,400 from the Carpenter Library for 2011 Programs. Funds to be withdrawn from the 2010 Sanderson Fund.
Discussed Pittsfield Police Department request for $6,250 for funds from the Sanderson Fund. Request postponed until meeting in January so we can meet with a representative of the Police Department.
Five Scholarship awards from the Foss Foundation have not been issued as request for the awards have not yet been received from the individuals.
Old Business:
PDIP funds for $22,000 have been moved to the Special Trust Account.
Received a thank you note from Louise Sawyer for funds received from Sanderson Trust for the Drake Field Summer Recreation Program.
New Business:
1. Met with T. J. Shaughnessy who discussed what was happening or not happening in the market and its effect on our holdings. It was his recommendation that we hold any changes in our funds until possibly the spring of 2011.

2. Future Meetings: Next meeting is scheduled with T. J. Shaughnessy for the period February 1-15. Cara will notify as to the exact date.
Next regular meeting will be held on January 20th 2011 at 8am.
