Opening:
The meeting of the Trustees of Trust Funds was called to order at 8:00 AM, October 24, 2014 in
the Pittsfield Town Hall by Harry Vogt, Meeting Chair.
Secretary’s Report: Accepted as presented.
Treasurer’s Report: Accepted as presented.
Old Business:
1. Citizens Bank – Review of investments
a. Two bonds were transferred as liquidated from previous financial advisor
firm. The dates of maturity were 2018 and 2021.
b. More inform
pleton scholarship: The trustees will advise Pittsfield Middle High School to
finalize and submit their request to the Pittsfield Board of Selectmen for
acceptance.
a. The trustees recommended changing language in the fourth paragraph of
the trust suggesting that it be the trustees who would report on the
finances of the trust, not the administration, as stated in the draft.
b. The trustees recommended that within paragraph eight, language may
need to change to reflect State law in regards to dissolution or redesignation
of the trust.
c. Ross Morse will follow up with PMHS school administration with these
recommendations.
3. Notification of Sanderson application deadline: The deadline for Sanderson Trust
applications has appeared once in The Suncook Valley Sun, in October and will
appear once more in November, and through the five weeks of December.
4. Update on Foss Scholarship emailing. An update will be sent out by Harry Vogt to
Foss Scholars before the next January 2015 meeting of the scholarship committee.
